A hook with an out-turned eye will not work with a spinner rig. The mechanics of that rig require a straight or an in-turned eye. You can use them for chods, hinges and D-rigs

i thought when using a hook swivel, in-turned or out turned wouldn't make a difference.

when using an inturned eye with braid or mono lets say, pulling on the hook link will want to make the hook pull inwards.

Due to hooks being sat on the curved part of a hook swivel which is also hard, that inward pulling action is negligible at best.
Are you sure?

This action cannot be undone.

Yes, continue
