A boom section that will reset and present, over light silt or low silkweed.
Maybe there will need to be a compromise.

Korda 50lb snag leader
Korda hybrid stiff
Korda boom

Are ones I see recommended, Thanks for any suggestions

All will be good, less stiff materials may be better. It really depends on what bait and hook you are using. Obviously a big heavy bait needs a bigger push than a light or balanced one. If you are looking to settle a bait over low weed you probably will be better off with a lighter bait and a softish boom.

They are all different bouyancies, you may need to consider the substrate too , also the boom length will depend on the material used and the state of the bottom you are fishing on.
In short there is not one perfect solution. Trial and error can often be the only way. Tank testing will help, but always test a set up in the edge before casting out. Unless you are sure your combination of materials will do what you want. Best advice is to find a combo that works and stick with it.

Been really impressed by the Thinking Anglers Tungskin in 35lb, supple enough to settle over the lakebed but stiff enough to kick away from the lead - when using a pop up at least.

I have found IQ a good all rounder. It will be better suited to your lake bed, I have used boom, but just found it too stiff for my needs.
