How is the best way to mount an 11mm floater pellet onto a size 10 mixa hook?

scrape a groove out of the pellet, keep the dust, super glue the shank of the hook to the groove in the pellet, sprinkle on the dust to the excess super glue to hide the hook in the groove

Personally I like the pellet bands with the little tag under them to put the hook though, I slide it on then a little dab of superglue to keep it where I want it and that's it. It's easy enough to get the band and superglue off should it break and then use the hook again (if you wish).
I use the John Roberts bait bands , always have, but on another thread might have been my floater hook one a different band was recommended. It looked interesting as it had a tunnel for the hook as opposed to a tab, might hold the biscuit more securely.
EDIT, it was StevieB90 using the Korum bait band.

This post has just answered the question I posted on the floater hook thread...
OP may I refer you to said post to see my method for attaching floaters to my hook.

Maybe thus is where I'm thinking StevieB90 was using the tabbed bands....it's like the twilight zone
