I'm trying to tie this using 15lb Daiwa Sensor and I cannot get it to stop slipping when put under tension. I'm trying to fully bed down the knot before tightening it down and I've tried tying it like a blood knot and grinner but it fails 9/10.

Anyone have any advice?

May just be the brand of leadcore doesn't like that knot. It is a knot that seems to have fallen out of fashion these days, I seem to remember people used to super glue it too, which I would never recommend.

Any reason you can't just splice a loop amd palmar knot?

I use the same knot that terry hearn uses, he shows it on his chod rig video.
It's a needle knot that doesn't need a needle.
From 0:30 to 3:00. https://youtu.be/ZKL1bHT_XtE

Daiwa sensor can be very prone to deterioration and certain knots will not be suitable.

If you try the above knot and you are still struggling then I'd suggest some better line.
When I tie this knot and get snagged it will never break at the knot.
Are you sure?
