Anybody got any experience with barbless hooks on hinge rigs ? I always use a straight point but I'm thinking of going to a beaked point for barbless for a more secure hold. What's your opinions ? If you go beaked can you recommend me a beaked chod hook. I'm able to crimp the barbs so don't have to be a barbless hook.

I do like the Nash claw chod hooks in size 4 , there pretty sharp straight out the packet , but can also be made sharper, wide gape and beaked point , I use them on chod and SHR 👍

I use a barbless size 5 Nash Chod Twister for almost all my fishing.
That's both bottom baits and pop-ups and I lose very few fish.

TA beaked chod in size 5 is a great hook, had a lot of fish on them the last few years.

I've chopped and changed between beaked and straight points over the years depending on what stock I've had in the tackle box. I've used Korda beaked chod hooks and the Gardner straight point chod hooks and not noticed any difference in hooked to landed ratio on either on hinge or chod rigs (all barbless)
