Does anyone know if there is anything simular out there to the old Kryston Driftwood. You know the old malleable floating putty that you could mould on your line for surface fishing.

I did see vid with Chris Ball where he was using the red wax from baby bells and moulding that around his line. Did look a good idea. But don't fancy munching me way through a bag of Baby bells just for the was outer. Can you buy a malleable wax product simular? Anybody have any other ideas or used anything diffrent?

Looks interesting. Don't no whether there would be enough in that tub to make an effective controller. Looks light used as a sight Bob when fly fishing. Have you used it?

Sorry, missed this question. No, haven't used it but came across it with the same enquiry as you. From the look of one of the photos of you combine both colours you'll get as much as an old tub of driftwood
