Just after some tips on the above subject guys.
I'm looking to fish a chod rig on a korda fused leader, so I'm after some advice on how i can keep the rig itself away from the lead once hooked into a fish as I don't want the lead hanging below the fishes mouth or would it be a case of having to use a drop off lead?.

I use a rubber lead insert and a rubber bead on the end of the leader that adds a cushioning effect above the lead. I also use the smallest lead I can get away with, generally 1 ounce and never go over 2 ounces.

When I use a leader I tie 6 or so inches of 6lb line to the bottom swivel then tie the lead to that. I used to get loads of hook pulls before I did that. It acts as a rotten bottom too incase you get it snagged.
Are you sure?
