Does anyone have any tricks or tips to lock the hair in place so it stays in line with the shank. When I used a stripped back coated braid, when you tighten the knot it continually twists back on itself and doesn't always sit in line with the shank? I am forever twisting it back around but am paranoid it might happen on the cast?

Superglue the knot on the hook.

Couple of turns back up to the eye under the hair will sort it

I found the best way is to start with the hair laying alongside the hook on the opposite side it is twisting so that when you tighten it it twists and is in line with the shank if that makes sense.
