hi anyone tried the new Gemini d rig booms.. they work multi style so a bit unsure.. ive ordered them in 7" and 9"

I like the Gemini range I've had the pva stems and they are excellent for my needs

I bought a pack to try in France, but forgot to take them lol

They look very good and very well made, couldnt tell you how they perform though

Was using the 7" Gemini booms throughout the spring/summer seasons couldn't fault them at all only reason I stopped using them was I'm now apart of a tackle team so I'm now making my own using there products

In answer to your question i wasn't impressed with the D Rig booms, too stiff on the hook section and made the hook sit at a funny angle.

everything else from Gemini has been spot on though, I use their 9" Ronnie links to make my stiff hinges..

Sit the best with a chod hook

I didn't like the way they sat with any of the hooks I tried. Not worth it for me when the D rig is so simple to tie perfectly
