Got as far as a single piece of slow sinking plastic corn with a size 10 korda widegape. The hook sits flat on the bottom and the corn should waft about off the hook.

Shortish chucks so want to just hook a small bag of mini pellets direct onto the hook.

Having trouble deciding which hooklength material would best suit this rig. I originally wanted to use flurocarbon but the hair was too stiff for the corn to waft about naturally.

What should I use for the best presentation?

If you want to use flurocarbon. There's no reason you can't tie the hair out of a more supple material. Tie up a hair from something soft, and trap it under a knot less knott as you tie on the fluro.

I prefer a big hook and use a wide gape talon tip in size 4 with a big grain of the enterprise corn. I use merlin as a hook length, though that's probably out of favour now, so any supple braid. I found if you tie it KD style the big grain sits lovely over the top of the hook.

I actually go back to a mono or fluoro hooklink, hook tied on as in through the eye, with a piece of tubing, and the fake corn 🌽 attached to the size 8 hook using a pellet band pulled through the corn.

If you use a floating piece of fake corn, and balance it to the hook so it only just sinks, putty around the tubing.

It is a method I use fishing over sweetcorn, maize or even hemp and maize and Vitalin.

Don't bother with the plastic, which should be banned anyway, and use a trimmed down pop up which with probably behave better on fluoro. Or use mono which is naturally a bit softer
Are you sure?
