Sorry if this has been done before, couldn't find an answer....
When tying up the curved section on hinged stiffs or chods, what's the best way to ensure the curved section is properly formed so the hook remains vertically hanging down?
Have tried several different hook knots, and hooklink curving methods, but always end up with the hook not sitting as vertical as I'd like. Admittedly, it's not far out, I just feel I might be missing a trick in terms of forming the best (& straight!) curvature.
Thanks!

It's just a case of practice tbh mate but if you're struggling you might want to take a look at the Atomic Chod Tool.

Put the hook over the end of your thumb so the point is in your nail and the shank is on your thumbprint and flex your thumb backwards. The shape your thumb makes is the perfect chod shape (imo). Rub it a little in that position, sorted.

Simple ideas are always the best. tried it last session and the curve is proper agressive and you can bend it back a touch to suit if you wish really useful idea
