Nah the snowman is a hookbait. It could be fished on a hair, a D, a slip D etc etc.

Personally, Slip D or just a regular hair rig with a bit of silicone to trap the hair on the hook shank.

Mine is what they call nowadays the claw rig
Knotless knotted with a bit of silicone around the bend towards the point.
Somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 inch hair

As Yonny says, the snowman is a hookbait presentation, NOT a rig.
You can be plain basic simple, a standard knotless knotted braided or coated braid hooklink, maybe with a line aligner.
Simple and it works.
I tend to use the line aligner, have a Uni knot loop on the hair, put on the bottom bait, and tighten the loop on the pop-up, no need for a boilie stop. The separation for me between the hook and the bottom bait on the hair is around 10mm, (my usual hookbait is a 15mm pop-up over an 18mm bottom bait), so I attach them as I tie the rig to keep that separation.
That set-up has worked for over 15years for me, that simple. No need for faffing with 'fashionable' rigs.
I tend to try other rigs every now and again on one rod, fishing the two side by side, and the line aligned snowman bait still usually outfishes anything else.

The claw rig is best for bottom baits with no buoyancy at all. Buoyant baits are best fished with the silicon opposite the barb, not around the bend towards the point. Or a kd rig is very effective although its prone to tangles.
