Played around with some rigs on the bank this weekend but struggled to tie any decent knots into the stiff fluro I have ( 20lb ESP ) none of the recommended online knots worked as it just kinks and doesnt really allow knots to slip as such.
Thanks

2 or 3 turn grinner/uni or even a blood knot has worked for me. Usually in 40-80lb though. Tying 80lb for the fist time was a laugh!

Palomar knot has always been the strongest for me when I have tested Fluro. As long as it is tied properly it shouldn't kink.

. . .simply no need with thick diameter lines . . .TH showed me this years back using thick clear amnesia for his loop and boom bottom bait rig . . .actually think it was a two turn blood . . .wasn't going anywhere . . .you can use with confidence on chods etc

I am referring to my 0.40 mainline, completely agree with thicker line for chod's etc. I normally use a 2 turn bloodknot for my chods, which as you say isn't going anywhere.

Yeah as the others have said 2 turn blood knot doesn't slip with ESP bristle filament and the like.
