Hi, im thinking of using Seaguar flouro as a hooklink with a supple hair , im fishing over clean gravel and thinking that the stiff hooklink coupled with a supple braid hair might give them a problem rejecting the rig , has anyone used Seaguar as a hooklink in this way and what bs would give the required stiffness , im thinking around the 20lb bs ? Cheers for any info

I used the Ace Hard for booms and stiff bottom bait rigs.
I seem to remember that it had quite a high stated breaking strain for its diameter so I bought on diameter.
I think in 20lb it may be a bit thin/supple to act as a stiff rig.
It's really tough stuff, I remember how hard it was to bite through when tying!

It was 0.47 / 35lb. That would kick away a decent size bait when dropped in the edge.
I do prefer my stiff rigs a bit stiffer than the original Amnesia ones and that done the job.
