I've just back from a session on a weedy lake. I was fishing zigs and had one run which I lost. It weeded me and without putting much pressure on the hook straightened. I was using the Korda mixa's in a size 8. Obviously they're not up for the job so what pattern would you recommend for this situation? Thanks in advance.

I'd use a widegape, thicker gauge wire and I've not had one open up in weed

Seen a few using the chod hooks. Haven't personally tried it but could be worth a go.
