I've heard that they are also the same as the angling iron ones. Never compared so not sure how accurate this is but the ai ones are

I actually think they are different. I think old carpspirit/ace are different to both the angling iron and new carp spirit hooks. They are all very good hooks though. New ridgemonkey also look similar.

I would imagine max cottis told them (ridgemonkey)where he bought the hooks from when he owned ACE

Funnily enough on a read of another old thread someone says there's a difference in shank size on 1 pattern. Then add to the mix your mention of new versions, I'm just glad I bought a whole load of my fav pattern Ace before they dissapeared.

I think they are different - i have some ACE LS hooks and a packet of the Carp Spirit version and they are similar but looks to me the ACE are a little thicker and slightly different shapewise.
These carp spirit are in the plastic case that ace had. they have gone cheap now with the packets i see
