Hello everyone. I am just tying up some rigs for a session later this week, and would like to tie up a couple combi rigs. However the only materials I have to tie up the boom is either 30lb amnesia or 20lb hybrid stiff, both rather stiff materials. The bottom I am going to be fishing over is silt/clay or hard silt. Do you think I could get away using either to use as a boom, as IMO they might be too stiff and hinder presentation. What are your thoughts on this, which could be better? Or could I even use them at all?

yes i think you'll be fine especially if you use a helicopter although I use a running rig with the fox angled run beads in silt. Take a look at the Gemini tidy booms, never looked back and nice and neat. Haven't changed the boom part for months, just loop to loop new hook section.

mine are the 7 inch version.
