why it wouldnt work? It is a hooklink with hook and bait... what more do you need?

I might be wrong but isn't a Ronnie rig exactly the same as a turbo German rig? One is used for pop ups the other for wafters..... instead of wafting above the hook I'm sure a bottom bait will sit on top of the hook.

Essentially the turbo german doesn't use a large ring
So is hasn't got full 360 movement

Been using German/spinner/360 all with bottom baits or with toppers, works fine.
