Hi guys which length would be better in the Ronnie and Turbo German versions of the Gemini Tidy Booms. I fish lead clips and tubing, I fish 2 shallow meres with flat sandy bottoms and an a fairly shallow estate lake. I usually fish with small mesh pva bags hooked on the hook. Thanks

I don't use pre tied rigs or pre formed boom sections etc, but personally would go with smaller boom on ronnie/spinner rig and the longer section on german rig.
Have you tried crimping your own boom sections?

What's your logic behind this out of curiosity mate? I keep all my rigs pretty much the same. Don't know how long maybe 6 inch

I don't think it would make any difference at all unless you were using a heavy bait and wanted to kick it away from the lead, then the 5.5 would be slightly better.
Are you sure?
