my syndicate rules have changed and we now have to use the dreaded tubing and leaders are banned. On a lot of swims you need to be hitting 100-130yards so without a shock leader i would need to be looking at tapered mainlines.
I've looked around and the only ones seem to be on the market are korda subline and fox exocet. never used either line so i have no clue which one is the better line. Any info would be great

Haven't used the Korda so can't compare but I have no issues at all with the Exocet. Use it in 15lb for the past 3 seasons

All the reviews I read said the fox was crap so I loaded with the korda one during lockdown 1.0
Unfortunately I haven't had a need to use it yet
Will say it went on pretty well and felt ok

Regularly use Korda tapered subline. Personally I would use 40/12 unless I was going for max range, then 40/10. I have had no problems. Make sure you buy compatible tubing to allow easy threading. Most are OK

Depending on what rods you've got, you can achieve those ranges without having to go down to using tapered lines.
Get a good reliable 0.37 line and you'll be golden, just make sure you check your knots regularly.

Really? What are the negative comments?
For me it behaves well, quite supple and casts decent. No strength or abrasion problems, but too much stretch for my liking but that's most mono's That cast well I've found really
