ive been trying to tie the D rig using korda iq2 flourocarbon in 20lb and Im finding the knots seem to come undone and get very loose
which flourocarbon do you use for this rig please

What knots? It's just a small whipping knot and a knot less knot, I've tied it with 15lb iq2 and had no issues.

Are you sure you're tying it correctly? Don't mean to condescend, I remember I struggled with it when I started tying them.

im following a guide of utube to tie it
the rig is ok when 1st tied the whipping knot seems to unravel i dont think im getting it tight enough

Maybe just add a dab of superglue if tied correctly.

If you are doing the 'two fingers in the loop' method as per Terry Hearn that's very tricky unless you practice it a lot, this is much easier LINK

really cinch up the knots tightly mate, use puller tool or similar that should clear the problem.

ive been using pliers on the tag end still comes undone
do you think my korda iq2 may of aged its prob 3 or 4yrs old
