I've used the multi rig for pop ups for a while and done well, now I'm fishing a lake that's got gravely margins that I'm fishing on, I need a rig that I can change the hook quickly as they burr the point over really easily, what hooks are people using for a bottom bait multi rig ? Was just going to use a standard wide gape with a break in the coating above the knot.

My go to hook at the moment for a multi are the thinking anglers out turned eye.
sticky sharp.
but I would recommend a slip D with a longshank in the margin, especially if its over gravel. fish it with a wafter or a corked tiger and cast it/ place it with pva foam on the hookpoint

Anything with either a straight or Inturned eye, both way more effective than the traditional chod hooks first used with them

Try a beaked point hook , I prefer a slightly out turned eye with a beak point if fishing on hard stuff , this will cut down on the point getting hammered

I use a multi rig with a bottom bait quite often.
I like to use a curve shank hook or a beaked point, tied to uncoated supple braid of 4" in a solid bag or 7-8" if chucking over a spread of boilies.
I add a pre-formed kicker to create and maintain and aggressive claw angle, and this also allows me to easily change hooks without messing with shrink tubing.
A small bait screw (with a ring or oval) for a single bait or a longer one for 2/3rds of a bottom bait with 1/2 a pop up to make a balanced bottom bait.
