I use a Nash baiting pole to get into the margins on a helicopter but what rig would you suggest the lake is silty i been using a low level Ronnie rig but its playing mind games with me if its sitting right the depth is only 3 foot any help would be much appreciated

I'd be using a 3oz in line and six to eight ins of soft braid fished straight or in a bag. At 18 metres or less into 3 ft of water you should be able to get great presentation. I'm sure others will have different approaches.

Not sure if I've understood your situation properly but could you not just move the top bead up a bit to allow for the silt?

A Ronnie rig will present well over silt just move the top bead up a few inches and it will be fine being dropped from a pole. If it's shallow and being dropped from a pole I would use a supple hooklink length depending on the silt and use a big lead 5-8oz it will be something the fish haven't come across much and should give you a edge.
