Am i right both these lines are "fast" sinking.
Other than one is in a green box and one is in a red box.
Has anyone noticed any differance when using it?
Is one better than the other?

The standard XT behaves much better than the Loaded buddy

Totally agree with yonny.

The loaded one behaved terrible but the standard one is lovely

Curevball I have XT loaded on my reels and think it's been one of the best mono's I've used

The loaded is still a decent line but it's less supply, takes a set (coiling), and doesn't deal with twist as well as the XT. Imo.

Less twist with the XT and generally better behaved, as tough a line as you'll find and casts well (sitting behind my rods now at 120yds using 15lb XT).

standard XT is the mono I use all the time when Im not using braid lives up to its name too extra tough

Normal xt for me

totally accurate assessment imho!

I've used the loaded for a few years now and been pretty much happy with it, but i thought it was all the same stuff. So I'm going to give the xt a go, i fancy a change. Thanks all for your replies.

Just read your original post and the Gardiner HD is VERY good also and sinks quicker / better than both having used all of them..

I have gone for the HD on all my reels..!!
