I didn't enjoy the Simmo one, I found the subject matter really repetitive, and the stuff at the end about all the practical jokes was really pathetic. When they filmed his reaction to the pink reels you could see he was almost laughing and it was really fake anger.

it was ok, sounds like they have a bit of fun along the way, we could all do with a laugh these days.
i was hoping he might go into more detail regarding predation, but i think Simon stopped him

No. He can give it but clearly can't take it back. The bit about getting arrested for kicking off shows his character IMO. Put it this way, if I had a fishery that podcast would put me off buying anything off him.

Simmo is who he is, and he's a character. These people will always get some people's backs up, but they are few and far between these days and the world is a better place with them about in my opinion. There are too many boring people who take life far too seriously.

Reading between the lines I think his ideas on otter control probably wouldn't sit to well with a corporate giant like Korda.. 
Though he did praise Danny's efforts with Embryo, and rightly so.

You wouldn't buy a fish from someone because you didn't like their character rather then judge it by the quality of the fish?
As said i think he is a bit marmite, but the one thing with him is you get what you see. I've worked with people with the same personality in the past and they are a dying breed. They will put you through the mill a few times but once you have proven yourself you will always be looked after and supported.
He did come across as incredibly knowledgeable about the fish breeding and stock management and did concede that he had made mistakes in the past.

yes i agree, i dont think simmo is the sort of person to deal with predation in the right way

They're taking a hiatus. Simon has decided to stop doing them so they need to find a new host. There is one more due for December release and that's it for now.
