I bought the Cobb Kettle and a 1 litre flask so as it boils the water for the flask
it acts like a fire starter so lights the Cobb much much faster

you can also use a the right size kelly kettle too by the time the kettle has boiled to fill a one litre flask
its ready to cook on

It does that - an excellent addition. If you have the stainless mugs that came with it they are great for heating up small quantities of peas or rice pudding (say).

We've got a cob for home use and I thought about a small one for fishing but I just couldn't justify it for the times I'll use it . I ended up with a stainless flat pack Apsm engineering BBQ which does me for burgers and sausages

Ah yes but imagine a roast dinner or a really flavoursome casserole or meatloaf or pizza etc etc.

Fabulous piece of equipment - cannot wait to start nights so I can use it again.

Treated myself to the Cobb Air in December thanks the discount code you posted OG.
Can't wait for the longer sessions on the bank to fire it up. I've got the heat beads and interested to know do you simply put them in water then dry them out to reuse them later?

You can yes although I prefer to stick the whole basket and fuel into a Quality Street tin which puts it out without adding water.

Yes it doesn't lend itself to travelling light at all.
