Did you ever make a decision as I am probably exactly the same as you. My thoughts are
Batteries BCUK seem better safer and more longer lasting but heavier
Fittings . Again BCUK look like their connectors are much better quality the GA ones which seem just like my old Power Porter ones and me being heavy handed could quite easily bend the thin prongs (and did !!)
Rear Wheels. Looks like GAP seem better value and better quality although BCUK are puncture proof
Motor. No idea as both are same spec but the BCUK one look less of a kit being all black
Delivery times . GAP much quicker in stock Vs 28 days
Has anyone here any more thoughts , lots of you have the GAP conversion has anyone had the BCUK one done. Your help would be appreciated

I paid to have the connectors upgraded on mine, I could barely pull them apart at times and being plastic they would have got ruined.
The metal ones are so much better and have a latch so literally no force is required

Thanks James , what type did you ask for and were they the "automotive" type connectors BCUK use. Was there much of a charge for the upgrade ?

I asked if there was an easier opening connectors as I was struggling to get them apart.
They fitted some metal ones for me, I think it was for £25.

I've got the 10amp battery version and so far used it twice on a 22 acre lake fishing the furthest swim from the car park over bumpy ground with three inclines on the way round. Take bedchair, water butt, bait bucket, large tackle bag, matt, rods, bivvy, cool box of food. This lot weighs about 100kg, it's surprised me how the weight soon adds up. Battery is at about half capacity according to the display but I'm probably going to charge it back to full capacity before my next trip as it did feel a little slower up the inclines on my way back last time, this may just be my imagination as I've got used to it. So far liking mine a lot.
It got a proper soaking in the thunder storms Wednesday and Thursday so appears the electrics are water proof.

Maybe it's worth the little extra for the bigger batteries then. At least I've got more than enough power to use.

You can also use the battery as a backup option to charge your phone ect if required. Not something I would do as I use a fair bit of power charging my phone, vape, headlight, zappa ect and would probably run it flat and end up pushing the barrow back.
