Are you happy to buy American products as they nuked Japan & used chemical warfare in Vietman? - it is where the Spanish Flu originated also.

Are you happy to use petrol and diesel in your cars when the countries that own Oil are tyrants and murderers?

If you plan on boycotting China for their madness now then take a look at your other products and where you are happy to buy from. I think you'll find an total boycott of products from any country that has acted worse in history than China has over this would mean you have very little.
I'm not defending China but its a bit flippant to boycott one country over their handling of this virus and ignore the atrocities of others and happily buy their products

They do mate, I know a couple of blokes in the mining game who aren't happy about it. They do have nice pads, swimming pools and 50k utes though.
I bet not many indigenous Australians got rich from the changing of hands of those minerals though, more those who laid claim to them when westerners arrived

if you go back in history you can find things to act on how far do you want to go back but we are talking about now and the way Chinese treat animals and what they eat amongst over things they don't deserve any support

Buying infrastructure for developing nation's in exchange for debt and in some instances total area's of Chinese influence in the host country. There's many geopolitical reasons why pressure should be applied economically, even before this pandemic. To bring about change. Painful for the importer that makes his money from Chinese cheapness, but the right thing to do long term.

China hid the virus and then allowed it to spread before actually letting the world know, and now look at us. If that's not cause enough alone for some sort of punishment then what is?! As for their treatment of animals, yeah its been out there in plain view, maybe its just been highlighted more now. Its ****ing savage either way

Considering it was reported on UK news in Late December/Early January (and yes too late as people had travelled out of Wuhan by then) was it really hidden to the extent that the situation we are in globally was 'best case scenario'? Plenty of countries, a lot closer to China have it, and have it controlled, EU countries have it controlled, those that took immediate steps to contain it. China did a naughty by not telling everyone earlier, but arrogance of political leaders did the rest, a 'it'll be fine, we wont be affected much' attitude towards it, a majority of the public had the same thoughts.
I mean it's not like China is forcing people to ignore government advice and not social distance is it? It never forced which decisions needed to be made in terms of when to lock down any countries did it?

I never said the global leaders hadn't handled it badly themselves, but the fact remains it started in China and was hushed up, and even the doctor who first discovered it was punished for trying to out it. They allowed people to travel all over knowing they had a deadly virus going about and did nothing to stop it until it was too late. Now the world is in turmoil, people are dying rapidly, economies are on the brink of a huge recession meanwhile China have lost relatively few people in comparison (if their figures are anything like honest) their economy is on the up and countries are swamping them for orders for ppe which half of is sub standard. If that doesn't deserve some sort of sanctions then what does?

The Chinese started this virus easy to blame about testing and lock downs it's a new virus they didn't understand it it's taken everyone by surprise I think Boris and Matt Hancock and Chris whitty and team are working there bits
Off to sort this out what a responsibility they have very easy for people to criticise

Not saying they didnt act naughtily about it all. Sanctions are sanctions, sadly you cant say 'all of these deaths are because of you' to them because no-one acted appropriately. China or any other country. A boycott on Chinese products because of this virus is not a sanction, it is an aim at trying to blame them for something everyone dealt with stupidly. If somehow you managed to get everyone in the UK to not buy a single chinese made product, or any products with ties to china, they probably wouldn't be the losers in the situation, those products will be shipped elsewhere or factories would produce in demand products for the rest of the world.
