we thought it might still be higher than my Wychwood compact but sadly
it was not and even worse it was no where near as comfortable so we got a refund

I am sure there is a market for a bed thats got a really decent long leg height adjustment for people with dodgy backs
or people that struggle to get up from a low bedchair that does not weigh as much as a bloody tractor
I know Nash make a tall boy bedchair but FFS ? it weighs 17.2 kg

Yes it seems that with increased size manufacturers seem to think the user will weigh 50stone so make the damn things too strong and ultimately weigh a ton! I was looking for a low, lightweight but big bedchair to fit under a brolly, which is why I bought the Trakker RLX Flat 6. It's a great chair, but not if you need it tall.
The Fox Flatliner is a lot taller, almost too tall for me. It is long and comfortable, but it is quite heavy. If he's got a bad back you need a lighter bedchair really.

Check out the Prologic Inspire range, strong, light, comfortable, the mattress is attached to the frame like the top of the range Solar beds, no sagging and some of the range the legs extend to 50cm, I'm 6'3” and at full height my legs are a couple of inch off the ground. Well worth a look for the money.

Flatliner looks good and high at maximum leg extension, but over twice the weight of the RLX6. Agreed their must be a middle ground between bed height, comfort and weight to carry.

yes looks like the SOLAR Bedchair might be the best option so far ?

Solar stated weights sometimes are not accurate its possible it may be lighter ??

Yeah that caught my eye too Gerry, weight sounds like good middle ground and only seen good reviews for it. Makes me think how low the RLX6 is, albeit the weight was my main concern when buying it.

Seen the new Solar Undercover Pro 3-Season Sleep System?
Can buy it as bedchair (8.7kg) or as sleep system (11.4kg) although I still recommend the CH08 compared to the new Pro

the maximum solar bed height is only 40cm high with the kegs extended ?? as this is not what Solar are stating on their website they have Dimensions:

Within a few days I will receive the Solar CH08 and Prologic Inspire 6 Legs for my nephew, I will measure both again, I thought the CH08 was only 40/42 cm max, the Sp-ctec is 100% 50 cm
Edit: All Solar sleep systems are not real Sleep systems, all all their systems have a normal detachable sleeping bag without zipper.

the solar one if its 50cm my mate will definitely buy one and I will probably sell my bed`s and buy one myself too
to me I love the versatility of a separate bag and cover initially I thought asleep system was the way to go and spent a shed load of money on one NEVER EVER again
my Snugpak Techlite and Gardner cover is perfect for any conditions I will ever encounter and on any bedchair I choose to use it on so much more versatile

Maby 50 cm measure from ground to top of mattress but certainly not 50 cm from ground to bottom of mattress
Thought if you measure from the floor to bottom of the matrass you have 40 cm , I will take pictures of both bedchairs with the measurements, delivery is expected around 31/01-01/02

no I lay on top of the bed or sit on it so thats the height measurement I need from ground to the top of the bed if its 50cm max then that will mean its the best buy IMO
both my current beds are way less than this
