I do quite a bit of roast stuff in my Cobb. Although the RCB10 sounds good - more heat etc - I think the beads I use at the moment are far more suited because otherwise any veggies etc in the moat (wrapped or open) are going to be very burnt. The beads allow them to cook beautifully.
As I see it, a hotter fuel is fine and I think would be great for frying as that frypan will get rather hot quite quickly but for other stuff it would be too hot. As it is at the moment, if I am doing a stew I am using an extension ring to move the pan away from the coals as it gets far too hot. Also I believe, although the RCB10 fuel is used a lot by those well versed in Cobb usage (and as Gerry know there are some who are very savvy), the good old extension ring (or rings as sometimes more than one is used) is used often to effectively reduce the heat I think.
If I was using the Cobb just for frying then I probably wouldn't bother as a frying pan on a gas stove is much quicker.
Also, can you extinguish the RCB10 at the end of the cook to re-use them next time? I do with the beads - not sure about other fuels (the Cobblestone you can't I know). Fuel costs are miniscule I find.

The Go Outdoors model is the Pro model. Steel base rather than stainless steel. Same size though,
It is worth looking at what you get with it. The frying pan, griddle etc are all extras. So do your homework first.

Looks like just the thing needed here as ive had enough of those unstable double sided pan things.

really depends on what you will be cooking mostly ?
as The compact burns hotter as the grill plate is closer to the coals so would be quicker but if your going to be cooking things like joint s of meat then they need longer and not so hot the new kid on the block is supposed to be the best the Cobb Air 
But if your on facebook there are some really informative groups also youtube vids aplenty
