I use it with Gardner ultra skin stiff instead of chod monafilament, holds its shape really well and used a hooklink for a full season. Hookholds are really good with a size 6 krank choddy.

As the chod section is double over it makes it stiffer and holds its shape better.

This is what I'm trying to build confidence in currently. What hooks do you use? I wanted to stick to curves as few posts saying chod style not so reliable or is the BS? My muggas look very closed up on multis! Also any advice on hooklink material, I'm using pop ups to showing fishing and keeping very mobile so quite often I've no idea what the bottom will be like, I've opted for leadcore heli with a stiff coated, (ultraskin) are there any benefits of using say a semi stiff instead on a heli? Given the unknown substrate or should stiff still present? Help most welcome
