Sure, I'm not that paranoid (except with mosquito repellent). Though its easier to just use a rig ring, so theoretically it seems to have a double advantage.

Most the loops for the bait fell apart. I didn't catch anything from using pop ups/multi rig so I casted out a basic hair rig into the middle of the lake with a manilla boilie and caught a 5lb14 Mirror carp. I was happy to not blank on my first session of the year..

I'm guessing you mean the way you tied on the baits to the rig ring.
get your self some floss.

there are loads of videos that will show you how to tie on a bait with floss
heres one done by Angling Direct

I use small baits so not so keen on the bait screws, but they are great for bigger baits

Yeah if you're not building or renovating something

I've got a whole house to build but I still plan on going fishing, I am retiring end of this month so that will help

been here nearly 5 yrs and been renovating for 2 yrs
