its for a mate of mine thats an old fart like me that doesn't go on the net he hasnt even got a PC !

I have the original TRAKKER ELS a brilliant bed (43cmH) but to heavy at our age

I also have the Wychwood compact tactical with lumbar support feels just like my ELS lovely and firm
but suffers with the poor height being a compact
so its too low for him and when I recover its going to be too low for me too

I didnt realise the TRAKKER - RLX FLAT 6 LEG BEDCHAIR was as high as 38cm
thats not that bad for a very light 7.5kg bed

TFT got them on offer for £114

38cm leg height is not 38 Cm height under the bedchair more like 32/33 cm

Gerry, Go Outdoors have them in stock aswell and if you have a members card, you can try the price match plus, which will bring it down to £103.50.

I am not interested in the under bed height but the height of the bed as he is like me elderly lol and finds it difficult to get on and off a low bed

Currently on my rlx at the lake.. I don't have a tape measure but the legs on the lowest setting Is the same height as my size 10 trainer if that helps. Great bed chair love it.. just don't ask the extended height till morning it cold out

I think Gerry needs to know the height with the legs fully extended mate.

he lives in Wraysbury and there isnt one anywhere near here so he wont have their discount cough ! card you have to buy !! if he decides its high enough it will be TFT

Well !!!!!!!!!
my mate went for the TRAKKER - RLX FLAT 6 LEG BEDCHAIR it arrived and we compared it to my Wychwood tactical compact it was NOT ! any higher both 38cm very disappointing

and in both our opinions it is no where near as good the Wychwood
the Wychwood is far firmer so the RLX is going back for a refund as it will be no good for his ancient back

and the search continues the perfect bed for both him and me would be a firm Wychwood tactical type bed that was around 8kg with a long leg adjustment so the bed height could be around 50cm high
there has to be a big market for people with dodgy backs or older carpers that struggle to get up out of these silly low down hobbits beds that dont weigh a ton

Yes taller bedchair to go in the taller bivvies would make sense. . Unless you're Chinese. Makes you wonder who's actually designing this stuff. Let alone field testing it. That's enough of a joke to give Jimmy Carr a whole new stage act.

I have both Wychwood Tactical Compact Bedchair and The Trakker RLX Flat (superlight?) and i find the Trakker more comfortable and pretty sure it is better build quality and bigger .... I cant get to them at the moment to be sure

yea one is a compact so there is a size difference SADLY its not Higher though

and of course comfort is a personal thing
My Wychwood Tactical Compact is a 2019 version its now got adjustable lumbar support
and a very BIG improvement on the previous one that Cyprinus copied that is piss poor

chalk and cheese and both ! of us thought the Trakker was crap in comparison and would not come close to the firm comfort of the Wychwood THATS why we sent it back
