You seen the film 'Crossroads'? Ralph Macchio as the slide guitar prodigy who takes on the devil's champion guitarist (Steve Vai!!!) - surely based around this song

I think Ry Cooder played the slide guitar parts for Ralph to mime too...
And if you have a Vai story you better bloody share... I remember seeing him with DLR and he played the solo to one of the Van Halen songs with the guitar behind his head.... now that's taking the 'p' big style!

this one crept into my mind over the past couple of days. a very lovely song with a beautiful sentiment
