Any recommendations for the best beaked point chod hooks?
I can't get to a tackle shop so will have to order by mail.
requirements are -
a) very strong - I need decent gauge to deal with wild fish & snaggy water
b) beaked points that sharpen up well
c) larger eyes so I can get a loop of chod filament through them.
I have used Korda versions for a few years but want to check & see if there are any other makes on the market that I should consider.
thanks in advance

size 5 TA beaked chod 👍 super hooks and do everything you are after.
if you go whipping knot route, you only need to pass through the eye twice.

Amazing hooks - I use them for most of my other fishing but unfortunately the size 4 eyes are too small for looped chods

The chod b from J Precision are what I use for my chods and the eye is big enough to get the mouth trap material I use back through for a loop to blob. I was struggling with the standard chod hook, and they suggested I switch, and I've not looked back

I use the size 4 ta beaked chod hooks for my multi hinge stiff rig and can easily get a doubled up loop of 30lb recoil through the eye.

looped chods? You meaning multi style or just poking the tag end back through conventionally?
If you like the hooks you're using, just learn the whipping knot, line only goes through twice.

multi style - less chance of mouth damage & so I can change the hook quickly.

Out of interest how does the chod damage more than a multi?

I don't think I said it did?
I have definitely seen mouth damage reduced on the fish I've been catching since changing all of my rigs to multi style with loops - chods, mono & braid. I can only talk about my own fishing - catch results are the same & deffo less tears in scissors.
