whats the best (small) knot to tie a boom to an esp ronnie clip pls ? i dont have a crimp tool etc. using thinklink/amnesia or similar hooklink
The palomar would be my choice, strong and neat.

Id honestly invest in a crimp tool. Its game changing. Easy to get rigs the exact length and its neat and strong

I use the korda one, but they all do the same thing. Just make sure the crimps are the right size for the material you are using, and that the material is suitable

I would assume so. Cant be certain though as not seen the wychwood one. Not a fan of the mini crimping tools, much harder to use being shorter. And havent solved a problem that wasnt there with the bigger size. Shouod have just put the xs slot into bigger crimpers

Iv got the Korda one reason being I'm not sure if the crimps from other brands are the exact same size and Korda crimps are available in 99% of tackle shops, for have just brought out one btw

The fox one is better than the korda and uses same size crimps.I like how the fox one flares the crimp so follows the shape of the loop

If you don't crimp the last half a mm with any of the tools it flares it in the same way.

I bought the bank tackle tool and crimps in the smaller size after some advice on here. Looks exactly the same as the korda one I think. Bit fiddly but it's been beneficial tying up rigs the same length because I've always struggled with doing the knots and having them close to the same size. This takes all that away

If you don't want / need additional movement and you're using a high diameter boom then a two turn blood is more than enough . . .mini ring swivel on the hook connection
