I have the thinking anglers ones as my every day pair
I like the loop for tightening knots and the stripping tool that are on them
Even though I still use teeth to strip the coatings lol

I've used the ESP ones with orange handles for at least 10 years

If you send Gerry (OldGeezer) a PM, he'll tell you the best scissors. He put them on a post a year or so ago, and I ordered a pair, they're fantastic. No carp tax either.

I use the TA ones also and I also have a pair of the RM ones.
I think it was these that were mentioned alot in a previous thread.

Before buying new ones trying sharpening them with aluminium foil. Fold over a small sheet a few times then cut into it, for some reason this sharpens the blades, something my dad taught me years ago.
Will be worth a go before binning your old ones.

Cuda brand either the tiny ones the snips, bait snips or the 5.5 scissors which are even better. They cut limp braid after a few sessions of tying cod and conger rigs
Hi, got the Taska Ceramic Scissors & other good ones. Got expensive Fly Tying Scissors.
Well more expensive than the Cuda ones.
But none beat the small Cuda, for cutting limp braid, prob due to larger serrations.
Like cutting mono.
