Yes, no problem.

One thing I saw Darrel Peck talk about recently was when using a small crimp is to actually crimp it in the larger space on the pliers and you get a better result, I've since tried it and he is right, that was with Mouth Trap though.

This is what I've always done, you crush less this way.

I wanted to know this so gave it a go last week at the dinning table.
I made up some small chods and crimped the swivel end so I could get it nice and short.
I then put it into my pullers and the hooklink snapped at the hook end.
The crimped end didn't budge

Hi
I have given the boom and krimps a try for the first time. I have been using the small krimp with the 25lb boom as stated. I also have put the small krimp in the small hole on the krimp tool and it doesn't look right?? Looks very crushed. It holds well on a test with the pullas but just looks abit wrong and creates two flanges either side of the crimp and not nice and round. Is it correct that if you put it in the larger hole you get the same breaking strain but a neater looking krimp?
Thanks

From your description you are not putting the crimp in the correct position. It needs to be in the pliers with one tube above the other. Get it in right and it will be neat and perfect every time. Any flattening and it's wrong. Bit of care and practice will sort it out.

Definitely lining them up in the barrel correctly. Ultra paranoid about that

I'm probally just being really fussy. Under tension with 2 puller tools it does not budge at all.

I have discovered what is causing it. There is a small dink in the krimp tool on the corner of the small hole which is causing this problem. Used my friends tool and no problem. new one on order
