Be very careful re fishing republic, I was let down twice last month. Look especially at the dispatch time for items, ie in stock but 14 day dispatch time :-0 wtf...basically means its not in stock. They also only dispatch from 1 store so items may have to be sent from 1 store to the other before being sent out, which didn't happen 3 times on 1 of my orders.

I had only good things to say about their price matching and Swinton store which I've used, but as the lad said to me on cancelling my last order "I'd be pretty pished off if I were you"

I used this at the weekend too. No idea of the throwing stick is any good but free is free. My order turned up Tuesday after ordering Sunday so no complaints here about their service.

I've had nothing but problems with the Erics' Code. I got in touch and they looked into it and it wasn't activated on Eagle Claw stuff so they changed that but like you say when I finally got it to worth it didn't take 20% off so I didn't bother with the order.

I do wish Angling Direct would specify which manufacturers are excluded rather than wasting your time adding things to your basket only to find out when you try to check out that certain manufacturers are excluded

I've always found shopping on the big stores ebay stores to be cheaper... for example Total Fishing Tackle charge for delivery on there website but it's free on there ebay store. Loads are like this and worth looking at if you want a few small things and dont meet the min spend for free delivery

Not really a discount code but a way go spend less never the less

If you really needed to buy something you'd buy it without a deal. As has been said multiple times on here, the shops are not in a position to shift a load of tackle at the moment. Most have furloughed staff, their suppliers also have furloughed staff and shipping is restricted, both internationally and domestically.

Considering most of them struggle to keep up with big sale events when everything is going full pelt I think this is sensible. It's not as if we can even use it for the time being!

them delivery drivers might be out of work had they not had work to keep them ticking over,especially self employed couriers like Hermes and amazon use alot of. yes the virus is devastating the country but not everyone has the luxury of being furloughed or retired or wealthy enough to take 7 weeks off work. I've worked all the way through and with good hand and personal hygiene, social distancing and 2 metre rules within the work place I cant see the problem with people ordering items that might give them something to do during their lockdown.

That argument is flawed and at best a pile of ****. I have family who are self employed and provide services for the likes of Hermes etc.
The essential deliveries they are making are up 50% so they are working longer hours anyway. This they understand and are willing to do for people in need of medical and food supplies etc.
What they are getting is people ordering **** because they are bored. Rugs, lamp shades, golf clubs, fishing equipment.
This is delaying the essential items because the network is understaffed and overy worked.
It's really not that difficult to understand.

is it the peoples fault that order the stuff or the tackle companys staying open to try and earn a little bit of a living or is the couriers fault for taking on the delivery in the first place?? if the couriers felt that strongly then surely they would refuse to collect the parcels from the shops??
I dont believe that bull**** about couriers putting their lives on the line,I've been delivering pallets and pallets of bleach and washing detergent to supermarket distribution centres,should people stop buying bleach and washing their clothes to protect me.??

Trouble with lot of these courier companies the likes of DPD , UK mail ,Parcel force , FedEx , Hermes , yodel their all self employed drivers with vans on lease so If they ain't working they ain't getting paid plus the likes of DPD , FedEx , U.K. mail fine the driver if they don't show up and ain't got cover for the rounds

I disagree with you. Too much work is hardly a problem when you have tens of thousands of people that will have no job left to go to when all this is over.

I've been doing 14 hour days throughout this ordeal. I think we're the lucky ones. I'd rather that than stuck at home drawing rainbows for the window. It's those with no job to go back to that I feel really sorry for. Hard times ahead mate.

Not a code but TFT are doing a free Avid Thermafast 5 XL sleeping bag when you spend £300. They're selling the bag for £85 on eBay (still £140 at AD) so it's a big saving if you need a new bag too.

It was nine months ago and still looks decent. I wouldn't miss it, but unfortunately, I missed it somehow. All that support you give us it's excellent. I like it. I didn't expect anything like this. It could be fantastic if all stores would offer discounts like this. Even a 5% discount it's awesome. Can anyone suggest anything similar to these discounts for internet stores? I believe there are a plethora of them.

Just find what you want then click add to basket. Go to checkout and look down for add voucher, click on that then enter the code and it will either activate the discount or say you can't use that with this transaction. Good luck.

I've been using SLK and The Bug. Been using them both together but will be going full on with The Bug this year.
Didn't have any joy with S7 but that happens sometimes . Never used the Switch.

All proven baits though I would say, albeit The Bug is fairly new.
Always a good service from Jason and the guys there.

Been on the S7 and Bug for a while now. I normally change to the SLK in the warmer months then back to the S7 and Bug. I used to be just on the S7 but really like the Bug so use that as well now

Slk and s7 are just as good mate so your do well on both I prefer a 50/50 mix of both of them. The bug I really like I've done very well on that this year as freebies I don't use the hookbaits though
